Ameer Baraka, the outstanding actor who is a key cast member of the HBO hit, "Treme," is shown commenting on the scourge of violence in his native New Orleans. Baraka, himself having had brushes with the law as a wayward teen, now counsels and teaches youth on the ways of good citizenship and develops plans for at-risk youth to turn their lives around. Baraka works with seasoned professionals and some of the world's top academic authorities on youth intervention, including those from Harvard and Tulane University.
